  • Our pricing structure is in two tiers:

    FULL PRICE

For three or more adults, with or without kids:

    Weekly: €2450, Nightly: €350

    REDUCED PRICE

For one or two adults, with or without kids:

    Weekly: €1750, Nightly: €250

Prices are calculated by the number of nights you are staying.

    So 10 nights = 10 x the Nightly rate.

    Minimum stay is 3 nights.

The prices are the same all year round.

Payment in full on confirmation of booking.

No vat. No further costs to pay.

There might be some wiggle room for special cases or super small groups.

We are discouraging groups of more than six adults because the general space and facilities would be a bit squeezed, but it’s cool for up to four adults and up to four kids (e.g. two families).

We will only open the bedrooms based on the numbers you book, so don’t try to pull a fast one! Honesty is the only policy!

Any other terms & conditions can be discussed at time of booking.

There’s just a couple of restaurants in walking distance.

You will receive more detailed maps and tips before your stay etc.

  • The Eastern Algarve is essentially from Faro to the Spanish Border, and where we focus our explorations. Central and Western Algarve being west of Faro, and pretty well documented; from bucket-and-spade package holidays, to wealthy manicured golfy zones, to the more rugged, surfy west coast.

We find it difficult to sum up the Eastern Algarve, probably because it’s surprised us how much we love its low-key, fashion-free charm. It’s just very simple, unpretentious, humble and hype-free..and it’s great, just in a way that’s different and less obvious than anywhere else we’ve been on holiday.

In a nutshell, the geography has defined all this. The Ria Formosa, which runs through most of it, is a natural lagoon that separates the breathtaking beaches from the mainland coast, meaning that they are only accessible by boat. This has led to very little touristic developments in the area, so there’s hardly a high rise or ‘resort’ to be seen, which in turn means the area is very Portuguese, with lots of farmers and fisherman, simple (delicious) restaurants and local life. Very little is geared directly towards holiday making…so the flip side of that is: it’s a great place to go on holiday! Oh, and the weather’s pretty awesome, the people are ace, and it’s inexpensive. Bingo!
